I hope you like the self-portrait on this page, it was the result of a COVID haircut, I will be wearing a cap for the foreseeable future.

Photographing families has obviously been on hold since lockdown began, so my wife and son have been my main subjects - thankfully they are both very photogenic!  Lockdown has been very difficult for many people, families included.  But amongst the difficulties there is the benefit that families have been able to spend more time together.  Now that we have moved into phase 1 of lockdown easing I am able to offer socially distant outdoor photography sessions.

All government guidelines will be adhered to, including only doing one session a day to ensure I am not meeting with too many families.

Obviously I am limited to places within 5 miles of Dumfries, and I would ask that no one travels further than that to come to a session.  Fortunately there are plenty nice places within that limit, including the Crichton Gardens, Dock park and the Kilnford nature trail. Of course if you are lucky enough to have a garden we can even do it there.

As ever the session will be very relaxed and enjoyable.  My photography style is predominantly informal/documentary but of course we can do some posed shots as well.   Sessions will be around half an hour, and the price includes 3 7"x5" prints and 6 digital files.  Currently I only have availability on Fridays and Saturdays, or weekday evenings.

For more info or to book a session please just get in touch, contact details are at the bottom of this page.
